Day 2
Fly to the mountains. The flight to the ski area takes approximately 45 minutes and is a true feast for the eyes. We fly through the magnificent Malka River Canyon with the Dzhily-Su Waterfall and the famous stone mushrooms, admiring the magnificent glaciers north of Elbrus. We ski west of Elbrus in the upper reaches of the Kuban River. The endless variety of alpine terrain with views of the main peak of the Caucasus. We end the day with a landing in Terskol and an overnight stay in one of the hotels in the Elbrus region.

Skiing on the mountain slopes east of Elbrus. The Adyl-Su and Adyr-Su gorges and the upper reaches of the Bashil River are beautiful mountain regions with interesting and varied slopes. We’ll spend the night at the Bezengi Alpine Camp, where we’ll stay in a traditional Balkarian tower. Bezengi is the leading alpine camp in the Caucasus, located at an altitude of over 2,000 meters in a secluded valley at the foot of the Bezengi Wall. It’s a true Mecca of Soviet and Russian mountaineering and the starting point for the most challenging climbing routes in the Caucasus. A visit to Bezengi is an excellent opportunity to experience the world of rugged mountaineering.
Skiing in the Bezengi alpine camp area. The backdrop will be the massive Bezengi Wall (a section of the Main Caucasus Range, home to five of the seven five-thousanders of the Greater Caucasus). Return to the base in Pyatigorsk with the option of skiing along the road along the upper Chegem River or in the Kyrtyk Gorge. After returning to Pyatigorsk, an evening flight is possible.
