The Putorana Plateau is a marvellous land of mountains, lakes and waterfalls that stretches to the south-eastern tip of the Taimyr Peninsula. This harsh region is known for its unique geology, excellent fishing and of course the huge amount of precipitation that falls during the winter, which lasts 9 months here. This makes it possible to open the heliskiing season already in October!
What’s in store for you?
Complete safety and comfort will be provided by a team of professionals from the Russian Mountain Guides Association.
Under favourable weather conditions we will make 8 — 12 descents per day. The flight to the nearest slopes will be about 10 minutes.
We will fly to the fluffiest snow on a modern Eurocopter AS-350B3x helicopter.
Accommodation in a 3* hotel in the centre of Norilsk.
Differences in altitude: 400m — 800m per descent
Ski area: predominantly alpine terrain
Flight time calculation: minute by minute, time is counted from the beginning of propeller rotation and stops when the propeller stops.

Early arrival in Norilsk. Transfer to the hotel (one hour). Accommodation, acquaintance with guides, avalanche safety training. Departure to the mountains around 12.00. Half a day of heliskiing (5-7 descents).
Days 2 and 3
Skiing on beautiful dry snow.
Day 4
Early departure to Norilsk airport for flight to the capital or further afield.

Additional activities in case of inclement weather
- Ski touring: a pleasant short walk near the base or a full day trip with a total elevation gain of up to 1,200 metres (two ascents).
- City programmes: excursion to the city museum, visit to the Norilsk Polar Drama Theatre named after V. Mayakovsky, gastronomic tour ‘Northern Cuisine'. Descent into the mine of ZF PAO GMK ‘Norilsk Nickel' or to the port of ‘Dudinka' in a reindeer camp, taking antler baths.
When activating the ABS system
When activating the ABS system outside of the avalanche threat situation, payment: 10.000 RUR.
Suspension from skating
By the decision of the guide, a participant may be suspended from skating if the level of his technical or physical fitness does not match the level of the other members of the group – the participant significantly "slows down" the group, creates a danger for himself or other members of the group. In this case, the organizing company does not make any compensation.
In which cases a refund is not made?
Refunds are not made due to the inability to ride for the following reasons:
— illness or injury received both before and during the program;
— inability to ride due to fatigue;
— unwillingness or impossibility for the client to ride due to bad weather conditions or heavy snow conditions (provided that safe riding is possible on this day).

How do I book a seat?
To reserve a place in the group, you have to pay 50% of the price of the program. The rest of the amount is paid no later than three months before the start of the program.

In case the group does not use up the flight time
If the group has not used up flight time due to non-flying weather, we make a refund at the rate of 180.000 RUR for 1 flight hour per group. Billing per minute. Such a refund is not possible at the early termination of the program on the initiative of the client.
In what cases is a refund made?
We guarantee a 100% refund or transfer of the program to other dates in case of force majeure. These include natural disasters, civil unrest, epidemics, decisions of public authorities that make it impossible to carry out our program.
